Just visited Pearl Harbor. Here are names of those who died on ship and still with ship.

Before coming to Maui, I never knew that the Spirit of St. Louis, 1927 fame Charles Lindbergh died and is buried in a remote part of Maui, Hawaii. But here is his final resting place on southern Maui, near Pacific Ocean. I found you Lindy!

Visited Diamond Head or Le ‘ahi State Monument, Honolulu, O’ahu. The trail to the summit is worth the strenuous level of hiking. The views of the Ocean and Honolulu are spectacular.

On the farm: My Aunt’s Elise and Mabel Rettammel prior to 1920.
Here are more photos from the period of 1900-1920. Notice the heap of potatoes harvested on the farm. I wonder if some where used at a Thanksgiving Meal. Other pictures are just next you the series of the first project I did 40 yrs that was documenting my paternal sides Rettammel-Wendland families in lower Juneau County, WI.
Happy Thanksgiving.

School picture of my Dad in Late 1930s.

Goofy Grandpa Rettammel (Far right), with his daughter Eva Rettammel and son-in-law Herman Buehler, Sr., Late 1930s Lyndon Station WI.
The next few pictures show my father’s mother side, surname Wendland. Most of these are over 90 plus years ago.
Various photos, notice the clothes styles and hair on the ladies. Some are just rural scenes of activities on the farm or homestead.

Not sure who these Men are but photos are 100 yrs old. I put them in my album 40 yrs ago because I was informed they were relatives on my Dad’s mother side, Surname Wendland.
