​At my favorite coffee shop this morning I had a conversation with a friend who said her daughter as High School freshman is doing a required family history project. It was great to hear!

I suggested that if her child wishes to present her findings to our local Genealogical Society that it might help with public speaking and also as a way to bring together older adults and youth who share a common thread – family history. A learning experience for all.
